Effortlessly Chic Bruma Destination Wedding

Effortlessly Chic Bruma Destination Wedding

Amy and Scott thought their biggest wedding planning hurdle would be getting fifty of their closest loved ones to travel to an unknown, remote location in a foreign country. But their friends and family quickly jumped on the opportunity to celebrate these two in paradise. And after scrolling through the stunning Bruma destination wedding day photos by Junebug photographer Catalina Jean Photography, you’ll understand why.

Set in the beautiful rolling vineyards of Valle de Guadalupe, Bruma was the ideal celebration location. The audacious couple kicked off their Baja California wedding with an effortlessly simple ceremony, complete with grounded floral arrangements by Proboda Baja Weddings. They then ended with an intimate reception under the trees draped in twinkle lights and ratan pendant fixtures. The reception tables matched the naturally chic look with neutral linens, wooden charger plates, colorful glassware, and floral centerpieces.

Just when you thought this wedding couldn’t get any better, in struts the bride rocking a silk v-neck gown, the groom in his classic tux, and the bridesmaids in their mismatched dresses. It’s safe to say—from the stylish fashion to adventurous location—this wedding has the inspo needed for all weddings, big or small.

How Their Local Wedding Planner Helped Their Bruma Destination Wedding Come To Life

Wedding planning was so overwhelming in the beginning! For us, the wedding planner was important and made the process feel like we could pull it together. Being a destination wedding, having a local planner was critical to keep us in regulation with local laws and source vendors. Selene from Proboda Baja Weddings was the expert that knew our venue well and what it needed to be a successful wedding. She also gave us deadlines to stay on track. The day came together better than we could have imagined, and we stressed out so much when we shouldn’t have.

Catering By Your Favorite Restaurant Is Always A Good Idea

The restaurant that catered for our wedding is easily one of our favorite restaurants. They only cater weddings when it’s on-site at Bruma. We got engaged at our wedding venue, which made the whole property very special to us.

What It Was Like Working With Junebug Photographer Catalina Jean Photography

Catalina Jean Photography joined us for the whole weekend. We really got to know her at the rehearsal dinner, which made having her around on the day of the wedding natural not only for us but also for all our wedding guests. She blended into our special day seamlessly, kept having to turn down drinks from guests, and even joined us on the dance floor at the end of the night!
