This Moss Denver Wedding Was Dripping With Florals

Weddings are often seen as a formal and serious affair, with a lot of emphasis placed on tradition. For some couples, however, their big day was all about having fun, which was certainly the case for Mallory and Jackson. Their Moss Denver wedding was dripping with florals, but it was also filled with laughter, joy, and a whole lot of fun.

With exposed rafters, polished cement floors, and large factory-style windows, the vibe of their venue was both urban and warm. Their florist created a wonderland of stunning, playful blooms that was the perfect contrast to the chic industrial space. Both their ceremony and reception featured show-stopping arrangements in a pastel color palette and installations of florals and disco balls.

The couple’s vision, their choice of venue, and their collaboration with talented vendors all came together to create a truly breathtaking wedding. Trust us when we say you must see every detail of this floral-filled affair. These images by Caitlin Steuben are guaranteed to blow you away.

The Inspiration Behind Their Moss Denver Wedding

We were engaged in the middle of the pandemic. And because of that, we wanted to center the whole wedding theme around a big, incredibly fun party with all the people we love. We tried to encapsulate fun anywhere we could–from bright, interesting florals to hanging disco balls and a live sax player to keep the dance floor packed! We didn’t give too many parameters on florals. We just knew we wanted something fun and spring colored. Our florist, Project Floral, created the perfect installation and arrangements for the day. They blew us away.

Incorporating The Groom’s Heritage Into The Personal Ceremony Was the Perfect Personal Touch

Jackson is originally from Indonesia, and we wanted to incorporate some of his heritage into our ceremony. His mom gave a traditional wedding blessing during the ceremony in Bahasa that his sister translated for our guests. It was an extraordinary moment.

Wedding Advice From The Newlyweds: Stay True To Yourselves

My husband and I are not huge planners. We fly by the seat of our pants a lot. Our advice is to avoid getting stuck in the little details. Try to stay true to yourself and what feels authentic to celebrate the love you have. We’re grateful that our planner was helpful throughout the planning process. They handled everything so well that we had no idea if there were any issues or surprises.

Giving Their Guests Treats For Their Beloved Pets

We did give out favors to our guests. They were our dog’s, Pete, favorite treats. He requested that the humans take some treats for all his friends who missed the “pawty.”

Showcasing Their Fun-Loving Personalities Into The Wedding Details

We are most proud of the aspects that show our personality. The little touches where we could incorporate our dog, Pete, trusting the vision of our florist to create a playful backdrop for the day, a DJ who captured our musical essence. The dance floor was definitely the highlight. Our DJ and saxophone player were a hit with all of our guests. We had so much fun celebrating and dancing the night away.
