Stokes Barn Farm Wedding Inspiration
We’re lovers of all things vintage, retro and bohemian and wanted to put together an inspirational shoot capturing all this.
This shoot took place at Stokes Barn Farm, Wokingham, Berkshire. On the farmland and inside the main barn. The inside of the main barn has a real mixture of open brickwork, rustic open beam walls, rustic wood and lots of natural light, which worked perfectly for this shoot.
The perfect blend of vintage, retro and bohemian styles. We are always looking to offer something unique and quirky with a vintage twist, so we put together a styled shoot to enable us to show our latest ideas. Such as our vintage glitter trike, 1970’s telephone audio guest book trike and gold sequin wall with mirror balls, glitter and neon sign for a touch of studio 54 glam.
We continued the retro feels with our vintage TV photo booth lounge and vintage campervan. The top table, ceremony area and florals were styled beautifully to blend all the boho/vintage inspiration together perfectly.
We wanted to create a boho 70’s look on Betti with glowy Charlotte Tilbury inspired make up and bohemian hair. Toni created an amazing chunky half up half down hairstyle and it looked stunning complete with Amore headwear bridal hair pins and head crown.
Betti looked beautiful in a wedding gown from Shikoba ‘Zahra’ with all the ivory bohemian lace and statement sleeves. Afnan looked fantastic in an earthy brown retro-feel suit from Fallen Hero!
We have been wanting to work with Betti and Afnan for 2 years and it was such a pleasure and so much fun. They are the epitome of true love.
The top table, ceremony area and florals were styled beautifully to blend all the boho/vintage inspiration together perfectly thanks to Lynsey at Two Little Birds.
The bright and colourful non traditional cake and treats were absolutely gorgeous thanks to the talented Sarah at Tiny Cakes.
