Catharine and Hunter’s Kentucky wedding at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens, planned and designed by new 100LC guide member Christina Burton Events, is a most romantic and charming way to ring in spring. Their love for painting, art, nature and sustainability were highlighted throughout every detail of the day from the venue to the favors to the overflowing, wildflower-inspired arrangements Zachary Brady Designs dreamt up for them. Prepare to swoon over these enchanting spring scenes by scrolling through the images by Shelley + Portugal:
Their invitation suite featured beautiful pressed flower paper and a map of the gardens.
Lots of painterly details throughout!
This bouquet — the epitome of spring, right?
Can you imagine a more mesmerizing ceremony set up than this lavender and peach archway and floral-lined aisle? Breathtaking!
Incorporating your dog into your wedding is always 100LC approved!
If you’re looking to get married at a Kentucky castle, the Yew Dell castle can be used as a bridal suite or for intimate ceremonies. The property also features a barn, stone terrace, and other indoor-outdoor spaces.
For favors, the couple gifted guests with local honey and dogwood tree seedlings. And of course, they had to offer a pup-inspired signature cocktail option:
Other personal touches included the impressionist book “Painting the Modern Garden” as their guest book, a custom symbolic monogram, and enlisting and supporting local artists and vendors such as the live painter below.
Oh, and this wildflower wedding cake by Mischief Maker? A work of art in its own right!
So many beautiful details in this thoughtful garden wedding!
